The Candidate?  That’s me.  I find that a lot of my fellow candidates will have somebody write a “bio” for them in the third person only to find out they wrote it themselves.  I’m not going to do that.

Sampling the Local Flavor at Apple Charlies

     Who am I?  Nobody important really.  I’m a parent and husband first.  My best-friend Toula has been my wife for fifteen years and my son Zach is the great age of 4.  My mother-in-law Sophie lives with us and is a fantastic nanny, cook, friend, gardener and Republican (I’m not really sure about that, but she loves Sarah Palin). 

     I’m running for office out of a burning desire to help my son and all Americans downriver recapture the greatness of America.  Our freedom is our first love as Americans and frankly, the most important.  For, without freedom, security is not possible.  We must be free to worship, to love, to prosper, to grow and to create.  If you’re a millwright or a doctor makes no difference.  What makes a difference is whether you’re a friend, an ally, a parent, a child and a member of the community.  Doctors serve their communities as much as millwrights do and vice versa. 

     I believe in a limited government and the reliance on the greatness and strength of the people.  I think that you and I do a better job of raising our kids, handling the bills, getting exercise and living our lives to their fullest than the government does.  I urge you to vote for me to assure that we can work together to continue securing our greatest legacy as a people:  Freedom.
